Fair, etc...

It's that time of year, fall and fair, the weather was perfect, even chilly in the evening, which means I need to be better prepared next time, the baby was cold.

We started out by eating right away, beek brisket bbq and then right to the ice cream.

"you are not sharing with me, i'm not talking to you"

Then we entered the kids in the kiddie tractor pull. "How fun this will be" we thought...yes it was fun when they went, but oh....my.....goodness, from the time we signed up to the time Jesse went, it was 2 HOURS!!!!!! I got a few pics, but I really need to read my manual to get some better ones at night.

When she first got on and the man was explaining that he would giver a push at first I could see her saying "I want to do it myself".

It's like pulling teeth to get her to not be goofy in a pic these days! She's so fun sometimes!

V waited patiently by playing peek a boo with himself.

J finally going, he was sooooo dirty by the time they got around to his age group.

The tradition of playing on the equipment.

A pork bbq

the only time dimples on your butt is cute

"ooo, what can I do with this?"

" i can eat it!"

My new view out the back. Den picked it up from a job, needs another swing and a slide, but they love it!

slugs

We were at Den's mom's last Friday for dinner. She was keeping some kids of friends for the weekend, the sweetest girls ever. They act very grown up and are very polite (they also have a little brother that they take excellent care of) and you begin to wonder if they are real. It was drizzling but we let the kids out anyway and they started hunting for slugs! You should have seen these girls, definitely real.

spider was chilling out, hanging from the middle of the porch, i tried to avoid it but still managed to walk through a part of his web and it was following me and I did a screechy dance and the baby (who was being held by someone else) did not like it

new goings on

You want me to do what with this?

When we gave him the spoon and would only chew on the handle. any other time we give him a spoon he puts the correct part in his mouth....ah well....he's obviously not starving.

Also we are doing this now....

too fast!!

back to PREschool

September Trip

I just got back from CA and attending my cousin Scott's wedding. I didn't go all the way home this time, but I did have the pleasure of staying with my Aunt Kathy and Uncle Jimmy. It was fun to have some extra time with them, and Patrick was generous enough to lend me and V his room for a couple nights.

My lovely cousin Abbie picked me up from the airport. She was gracious enough to model an apron I made for the bride. (I like to take pics of things I make, cute huh?)

Then they took me out to dinner at Wood Ranch where abs and I split ribs and tri tip, sweet potato fries and asparagus..yum.

"I think I''l have..." (he was checking out the wine list)

He loved their full length mirrors.

Saturday we headed to where the wedding was and checked in to our hotels and saw our roommate, Grandma Linda.

Later my parents picked up me and V. We had dinner at an old friend of my dad's house. He was around quite a bit when we were younger, hadn't seen him in a few years. They went to high school together.

Lot's of fun bachelor pad stuff around his place. I didn't get a pic of his armadillo basket. My other 2 kids would have been all over this!

Hanging with Aunt Kristina

Why is he so happy?

Because there was a dog he could chase!

Cute Aunt Kathy with her floppy hat.

Waiting for the wedding to start.

Does anyone else love this pic like I do? She's adorable and I love how John is looking at her.

My cousin Mark came down to see us and mostly to bring my phone that fell out of my pocket in their car. God bless him!
