A Bit More Shape

Last Monday I went down to watch them set the trusses for the roof. I only stayed for 2 because it was FREEZING. But it was fun to watch with the boys and the machine looked like a transformer.

We pulled up right behind the load of trusses.

When you have limited internet, and you choose to download free music, your blog suffers.  Here's what's been happening with us....

threw a surprise 40th for my fabulous sis  in law.

We also signed the papers and our construction loan has FINALLY gone through. WOOT. This has been a 1 month process turned into 5months. I thought I'd cry. I didn't. Maybe that will come later, too much yet to do still! House pics next post, check back in a couple days!

Just so there's no doubt....

I don't want there to be any concerns. I've been posting handmade/home school Ryan Gosling to Facebook and Pinterest and there's been a question of who my main man is.   This is the only man I really need that "Hey girl.." from.  (and for the record, yes I have better things to do...sshhh...more house building pics to come)

The Van man is 4!

Honestly....I'm tired. So the pictures are staying in the random order that they uploaded. Deal wit it.   Van's birthday was simple and chill. I love seeing him grasp the idea that the day is about him before he gets too greedy. He had one request; a puppy cake. We did have some errands to run that day so we went to burger  crap for lunch and the kid meal came with a crown. How fortuitous!  He loved it and preferred to wear it over the felt one I made for him last year. I was okay with it.  Happy Birthday buddy. You are so much fun, and sweet and I can't imagine our family without you.
