Everyone had their picture taken in front of the castle. She didn't want to wear the sleeves on the dress because they "tickled".

This was the princess cake. I envisioned it a little different, perhaps if the frosting wasn't white....anyway, it still tasted yummy!

The knights made shields and the princesses made necklaces (shown on E below).

My mom bought necklaces for the girls that turned out to be lockets with purple lip gloss inside. I suppose a princess must look her best. I was told later that a cousin was found with a completely purple face.

The next morning there was a tea party to recooperate from the previous evenings affairs.

Oh my gosh, Mel, E looks adorable! The dress is perfect, so glad you found it. The party seemed like a huge success, and I think your cake looks marvelous. Wow, I'm just shocked at how big E is! Love her curly hair, too.
Did you make the cake? Such a cute idea. And the party looked great -- you really put a lot of effort into it and I'm sure all had fun. Such a good mama.
Happy 3rd B-day, E! Sucha big girl!!
Holy Cow! She is ridiculously cute!!! And I cannot believe that she is 3!!! Crazy.
