4 years...wow

I woke up the morning of the 14th about 10 min before E was born. It's so crazy to think that it has been 4 yrs!! Even crazier to me that we are doing this all over again starting some time in January. SO here are some pics of the event.

E and big brother on her actual bday.

She wanted a clock and I couldn't find Little Mermaid but Tinkerbell appeared to be satisfactory.

Opening J's gift and his self made card.

Pretty plate from Grandma Linda.

Little Mermaid underwear!! I think this might have been her favorite thing that evening as she wanted to put them on right away. Then when I wanted to get a pic she had to unzip her pj's so we could also capture the ones she was wearing. Did not post that one for obvious reasons.

DAY OF PARTY

The cake..

and cupcakes (yes I made the seashells).

Table of goodies

The little mermaid herself. I did make this costume and I did draw the picture. Neither are perfect but I am proud just the same!

The other mermaids and a visiting Cinderella.

The danced to the song "Under the Sea" and played in the "bubbles". Other activites were making a seashell braclets and stick the starfish on the Little Mermaid picture.

Blow!

yummy red vlevet...(messy too)

the mermaid's treasure

YOU MADE THE SHELLS? how do you do it mel? i need lessons from you on how to throw parties sans stress...and even find time to make shells! amazing! the mermaid looks a little chilly in that one pic. maybe she should think of a more climate friendly party theme next year:) looked like a very fun party. good job! xoxo (my computer isn't talking to you btw)

Way too cute and I love the seashells on the cake and the mermaid. This was the age that you promised me that you would do all the cooking and cleaning when you got bigger so I wouldn't have to. Hmmm...?

So cute! I loved that she wanted a clock! And were those a pair of Uggs that I saw in her stash of presents? You get an A plus for making that cake and it looked really fun and special for E.

very very clever! i am thinking that i am going to steal your ideas for E's b'day on the 5th. that way, i can look like the "coolest" mom :) say, is her b'day the 14th? if so, that is M's b'day too?!
