"mommy look, I made a map of California" I thought this was quite clever for a 4yr old. E and J like to look at the road maps in the car and D and I decided that is where the circles connected by lines came from.
We had our friend Owen over last week for a visit, they enjoyed a little time in the tent.

D wanted me to take a picture of her "perfect curls" as he put it. So I am sharing the perfection, ;)
E: mommy did you see the paper stuck on the wall downstairs?
Me: What paper?
E: pause
Me: Did you stick paper to the wall?
E: yes
Me: What did you use, tape?
E: no
Me: Glue?
E: no, I used chap stick
So I walked downstairs and found this just below our mantle.

No fair that they get to have playdates with Owen! I love that D likes E's curls so much! Keep that up, D! There may be days when she's older and they make her want to scream, so she'll need a little Daddy reinforcement to help her get past that.
